Busch Gardens Adventures!

We ventured to Busch Gardens Tampa for a day of animal education (Busch Gardens has a zoo in addition to rides and attractions), exercise, and fun! Community inclusion outings like this allow for our members to engage in cognitive rehab activities in a creative way, strengthening their executive function skills, organization/planning skills, and decision making skills. Our member made the choice to spend most of her time with the animals, especially her favorite, the elephants. We got up close views of hippos, lions, and primates, too! We decided to wind down the day with lunch followed by a few water rides just as the rain started back up again.
