Camp Drummond: Men's Week

The final week of Camp Drummond was a success!

This time, it was the men’s turn to enjoy the beauty and adventure of Drummond Island.

Although the men had to deal with some rainy conditions, they still were able to enjoy many activities including: bonfires, puzzles, fishing, boating, beach days and even BINGO night! Similar to the women’s trip, the men were also able to enjoy some extremely delicious home cooked meals.

This is the Communicare experience!

The guys really embraced nature on the island. From fishing, stargazing and feeding deer, this group of campers enjoyed every minute of the trip!

The Client’s Rave Reviews:

BL: “I liked being up there because it was nice and peaceful and I loved riding on the pontoon boat and I liked hanging out with CH and IA and all the other guys.”

CH: “I really didn’t want to leave. I didn’t think I would feel that way, but I really do!”

IA: “I had the best experience of my lifetime.”

KS: “To be honest, I loved it. I loved the house, the room, the outdoors and just being in nature. I always wanted to go in the woods or be in the nature and smell the freedom of life. I freaking loved the stargazing, to me it was the best thing. The food was the bomb-diggity. The only downfall was the WiFi not working properly but who needs it when there was so much to do. Everything about it was fun… except the long drive!”

“It was a wonderful experience for all! From the beginning to the end of the trip, the members were engaged with one another and nature! Our first summer camp was a huge success and we are happy to hear that we will do this once again next year!” - Laura Miller, Day Program Manager
